The approach to my work is shaped by my origins as a painter; creating links and movement in the work through a consideration of colour, line, shape and space.
While my practice mainly started on the canvas, it now also includes installations of objects & paintings in architectural spaces.
It is the discovery and possibilities that occur as the work unfolds that I am investigating.
The actual form that the work takes is, therefore, highly varied.
Some works are playful, curious & joyful encounters for people to engage with. Others are more subtle and refined; still compositions and environments that allow or initiate contemplation.
